Drum roll please… We’re ready to announce the theme for our summer events!

Move over Coachella, because this summer will be all about Playtime Fest! Our twist on a music festival, Playtime Fest will open its doors to two events where brands’ new collections take center stage and buyers will be able to discover the latest hits in an atmosphere that is full of energy. With a festival of market headliners and emerging talents you won’t want to miss, in addition to exclusive seminars, meetings with experts, and spaces designed to inspire you, Playtime Paris and Playtime New York are key for professionals in the kids’ fashion and lifestyle industry to make it to the top of the charts!

This theme will be incorporated in our communication throughout the season, including in our articles. We’ll be recommending a song at the start of each article for you listen to while you read, starting now: press play on “Music Sounds Better With You“!

Joining us again this season, our superstar ambassador Claudia Cabrero will be in Paris and New York this summer. She’ll share insider info before the show, her experiences (and those of her daughters Valentina and Olivia!) during the shows, and an editorial with some of their favorite brands afterwards. To turn up the volume and announce the highlights to look forward to this summer, we sat down with Claudia to talk about the season’s theme and what’s waiting for you at Playtime Fest!

Hi Claudia, we’re so excited to work with you again this season. What were your first thoughts when we introduced the season’s theme to you?

I immediately felt like putting on some music and dancing! It’s a fantastic idea for the summer season, and I know it will make the shows even more special.

What kind of music do you like?

What are some of your, Valentina, and Olivia’s favorite songs to listen to together?

We listen to a little bit of everything at home, from AC/DC to Justin Bieber. However, we just saw and heard the most incredible concert of our lives – it was Rosalía live in Barcelona!

Have you ever been to a music festival? If so what one, and what was your experience like?

Yes!! We go to them every summer in the Pyrénées, we absolutely love it. What really appeals to us is the atmosphere. We love being able to meet new people and enjoy live music!

You created the image for our advetisements this season. Can you tell us what you wanted to capture in it?

Yes!!! I was so happy to work on this. I wanted to capture those feelings of pure joy and the sense of freedom one feels when you’re dancing with the music turned up loud.

How do you think music festivals influence fashion today?

People love to feel good, and fashion plays a big part in that! We’ve come to see amazing looks at events like Coachella, for example. Music festivals today are truly a way of life!

What kind of energy are you hoping to find at Playtime Fest this summer?

At Playtime, there are always good vibes! This summer I expect nothing less, and I am excited to experience it in a great, festive atmosphere.

What are some brands that immediately come to mind when you think of kid’s festival fashion?

A lot of brands come to mind, such as Veja, Favorite People, Tea Collection, Lilies & Roses NY, Wynken, Bobo Choses, Play Up… and so many more!
