One brand that stands out for an effortless mix of these two attributes is the lifestyle brand Nobodinoz. With a distinct eye for color and design, the duo behind this iconic Spanish label has been satisfying family’s needs for decor and furniture that pleases parents and meets the needs of kids since the beginning.

Murielle and Roman, founders of Nobodinoz
Murielle and Roman, founders of NobodinozBorn from their shared passion for design, art, and family life, Murielle and Roman started Nobodinoz in 2012. They set out with a desire to create products that bring joy, comfort, and meaning to everyday family life, letting their love for beauty and simplicity guide them along the way. With their name being the phonetic sounds for “Nobody knows”, there was always a playful element to the brand as well. What began as a small creative adventure in Barcelona has since evolved into an international lifestyle label with a distinctly European soul. Blending French elegance and Mediterranean warmth, they celebrate sustainability and craftsmanship with each new venture.
Nobodinoz began with children’s decor, offering cushions, teepees, and textiles that brought play and style together. From there, they expanded into children’s furniture, and then baby products for the nursery. A strong range of accessories for family life came next to further accompany their customers. Then, following many requests from their loyal community, Nobodinoz launched their first home collection. This most recent expansion has extended the Nobodinoz universe. It empowers the brand to accompany their customers every step of the way as their children grow.
Every four months, Nobodinoz launches a new collection. This rhythm keeps their story alive, allowing them to continuously surprise their retailers and their community. The brand has three main segments they work on at different times. Their first segment is made up of baby and kid’s accessories and nursery products to accompany families from their very first moments. Then, there is their home decor line that connects the worlds of parents and children. Finally, their new high quality design furniture is created to last and blend beautifully into modern homes.
By working on these lines at different moments throughout the year, Nobodinoz keeps their process dynamic and avoids overwhelming the market. Regardless of the line they’re launching at any given moment, each new Nobodinoz collection is an opportunity to express creativity and share something meaningful with their clients.
When it comes to their design process, Murielle is particularly passionate about color and pattern. She leads the design team as they build out new concepts sparked by intuition, a texture, or a feeling. From this starting point, the design team shapes ideas, makes choices, and refines every detail until it feels just right. They love to mix colors and patterns, finding surprising, yet balanced, combinations. Their approach is intuitive and refined. Drawing inspiration from nature, architecture, or even simply light or atmosphere, the design team prefers to create their own language of color rather than following trends. Their goal is for each product to be timelessly elegant.
Some of the team has worked together for over ten years, so the creative process is free and full of trust. This multicultural team is brought together by a shared sense of beauty and a firm belief that design can bring comfort and meaning to family life. Each person brings their own background, coming together to create a visual harmony that feels universal, yet personal. Through this merging of ideas, Nobodinoz captures a unique aesthetic that feels familiar, yet surprising, to customers around the world.
In addition to their outstanding team, Nobodinoz also enjoys working with renowned designers like Marc Venot or Heju Studio. Collaborations like these bring new perspectives and creative dialogues to their collections, while remaining true to Nobodinoz’ essence. Whether working within their team or collaborating with others, Nobodinoz’ design process is collaborative, instinctive, and guided by shared values.
Murielle and Roman have centered Nobodinoz’ values around what makes them who they are. Authenticity, a strong attention to detail, and a positive attitude are the key words for the brand. They believe in creating with care, and take the design process seriously. The small details or specific color tones they select are what makes a product unique. They also love to surprise their customers through new materials, subtle color combinations, or unexpected design elements.
Nobodinoz is on a mission to help make family life harmonious, joyful, and full of warmth. They know that the arrival of a child creates a new rhythm in life, so they want families to feel good surrounded by their products. Each item is made to help families find the beauty in everyday life and add joy to moments they spend together. Thanks to their timeless, pleasing aesthetics and durable production, Nobodinoz’ products are designed to be passed down for generations.
Since the very beginning, sustainability has been one of the founding principles defined by Murielle and Roman. From sourcing to final manufacturing, all the textile collections are produced in Barcelona. This allows them to control every step of the process, ensuring the originality and quality of each product. For example, their linen is grown and spun in France, then woven in Barcelona. Rather than ordering products from distant suppliers, Nobodinoz builds long-term relationships and works locally with trusted craftsmen. This meticulous attention to detail is essential to the brand, giving it its authentic and long-lasting value.
Safety is another key component for Nobodinoz. They strictly follow European safety standards, which are some of the most intensive. Every material, finish, and detail is tested to ensure Nobodinoz’ products are not only beautiful, but safe for the children and families they’re made for.
Nobodinoz first exhibited at Playtime Paris in 2012. Following the encouragement of a close collaborator, Murielle and Roman decided to take part in the event. It was a wonderful experience, and even exceeded their expectations. They felt that their story, designs, and values found their audience at Playtime. Since then, Playtime has offered Nobodinoz visibility and a sense of community. This is why they continue to exhibit year after year.
This season will be no exception, with Nobodinoz returning to Playtime Paris January 24-26 for the winter edition. At their booth, you’ll be fully immersed in the Nobodinoz universe that is warm, harmonious, and full of light. You’ll find their nursery essentials they’ve been working on renewing to bring freshness and functionality to some of their signature pieces. They will also be introducing a new collection of accessories with vibrant colors and thoughtful details. These harmonious continuations of the Nobodinoz story are sure to delight families and retailers alike.
Many of their buyers have been with them since the beginning, and have even become friends. Maintaining these relationships is very important to Murielle and Roman, as each one is a part of the Nobodinoz story.

Nobodinoz’ booth at Playtime Paris, Summer 2025The coherence found between design, ethics, and emotion is what sets Nobodinoz apart from other brands in the kid’s industry. They design each piece with intention locally in Europe, and care deeply about how their products make people feel. More than creating objects, they build a universe where families feel well, surrounded by designs that bring meaning to daily life. They see Nobodinoz’ secret to success as their ability to always add a touch of humor and surprise to each collection.
