Reima’s Urban Winter Wonderland

The Finnish brand emphasizes the importance of roots and stories through clothing

Dating back to the Finland of 1940’s, Reima first created work-wear for women by recycling old army snowsuits. In the 50s, Reima stepped into the world of durable kids wear, and subsequently focused all their energies on this segment from 2004.

Reima has created a multiverse of adventure and joy of movement, set in the mystical North - a playpen of Olaf and the Yeti. While the kids run free acting out scenes with Elsa and Anna, Reima promises to keep them warm with their Autumn Winter ‘20 Collection.

The 2-in-1 down jackets contain ground coffee beans, pulverized into microscopic particles that capture heat without trapping odour or static electricity. The double face knitted base layer is made up of a bamboo viscose and wool mix, allowing easy moisture evaporation without compromising on warmth, even on the coldest of days. Are you bamboozled yet?

"The concept of sustainability and recycling runs in their blood."

Their Kulkija jacket is made up of 100% recyclable mono material that creates a closed loop circular economy. While Reima knows that these big words do not necessarily mean much to the kids, a unique ID on each jacket allows the little ones to retrace the jacket’s roots, and also its onward journey after use.

The shell fabric of a few sweaters and winter pants is created using recycled PET bottles – thereby sowing seeds of recycling at an early age. The Fluorocarbon free, non-toxic wear is versatile enough to effortlessly move from slopes to streets. Majority of their clothes are furnished with highly visible reflective details to ensure safety at all times.

The mix of playful patterns and classic silhouettes ensures uninterrupted fun and unrestricted movement. What else could your little one ask for?

Reima will be at Playtime Paris (Booth A02) for the very first time at the end of January (25-27)!
