iglo+indi takes us to the Melonmoon

A watermelon and the moon for a fresh collection!

I love designing kids wear. Every child I meet is an inspiration. I admire their honesty, purity, humor and their natural joy of life. said Helga Ólafsdóttir, founder of iglo+indi. For her, every child is an artist, sees colors, shapes, and patterns everywhere.

With all iglo+indi collections, children can mix and match their own outfits easily. Founded in 2008, the Icelandic creative brand relies on handmade illustrations, carefully selected colors, comfortable cuts, and soft organic fabrics. Great recipe for great collections!

For the Spring/Summer 2018 collection called "MELONMOON", iglo+indi draws inspiration from moonlit summer nights. Smelling like a summer breeze, the 84 pieces are meant to be worn without limitations.

We love the contrast in the campaign photoshoot: the softness of the fabrics deals with the rough lunar landscape and the fresh watermelon touch.

“We play outside from dusk till dawn, listening to music, chasing birds and eating watermelons. Our freedom is absolute and time is of no essence.
With lightning, bunnies, antelopes, peacocks and melons, mystical colors of heather grey, skylight, lilac and peach, the collection is a festival of summer solstice and clear blue “

Also, the collection is entirely organic and made with certified organic cotton (too important not to be shared!).
Our favorite piece of the collection: the Lilac Hearts kimono (on the right), also available in adult size!
